It utilizes Single Ohno Crystal Casting which is one of the most complex wire extrusion processes today. The UP-OCC 99.99998% pure conductors are matched with Mundorf MSolder SUPREME SilverGold mix at every connection point, while also utilizing the best RCA and XLR connectors on the market today. When you are trying to squeeze out every last percentage point of performance, the Premium version makes sense. The Furutech Top Line XLR and WBT Nextgen connectors simply disappear from having an effect on the sound, and every point of signal saturation makes a difference.

Quality You Can Trust
Most stock audio cables are made of poor, ultra-thin conductors that work as a bottleneck for sound. Poor geometries, no shielding, rubber jackets, and a whole host of other issues in OEM cables can limit the performance of your audio gear in terms of clarity and definition.
Dragon Cables are handcrafted from quality materials in Moon Audio's headquarters in Cary, North Carolina. All of our cables are created with ultra-pure, single-crystal silver and copper strands and engineered to provide the cleanest, most musical presentation. Our wire is void of impurities and crystalline boundaries, leaving nothing between you and your music.
Silver Dragon Sound Signature
The Silver Dragon is our top-of-the-line flagship cable designed to maximize the amount of detail, clarity, air, and instrument separation you get from your music. Silver strands increase the soundstage, clarify instrument separation, and find previously lost high and mid-frequency sounds. Transients appear more cohesive, and the bass is tighter for a more controlled sound.
The Silver Dragon pairs well with all genres, especially Classical, Jazz, Americana, and other music with lots of nuance and instrumentation. That being said, the Silver Dragon can be paired with many other genres as well. Silver Dragon Cable Design
The Silver Dragon Premium Interconnect Cable uses an eight-wire braided geometry made up of solid core UP-OCC 99.99998% pure silver 26-AWG Teflon-insulated wire with an external shield for added protection. The braided geometry itself acts as a noise-rejection barrier, but we also added an iron curtain with the external shield. More often, our customers are using our cables on PC Hi-Fi systems and Pro Studios where noise is an issue which is the reason we added this shield. Most people don't want to be bothered with properly isolating their cables behind their audio racks. Power cables and speaker cables can have an unpleasant effect if running parallel to your interconnects. The shield protects you from this and also adds more durability to the cable for runs on a studio floor.
We chose the new WBT Nextgen WBT 0102Ag as our RCA connector termination option. We feel it is simply the best male RCA and above all others, we have tested to date. It sounded the richest during our research and development, with very clean sound with no smear that some connectors can add to the sound quality. We love the latching or locking feature of the outer barrel which provides a rock-solid ground connection. Proper grounding is one of the most important needs for your system.
The best XLR termination we found is the Furutech FP-601 in Rhodium finish! This was a hands-down winner in all of our listening tests. There is nothing better at this price point as an XLR termination option.

What is UP-OCC?
UP-OCC stands for Ultra-Pure Ohno Continuous Casting (OCC). This is not a material, but a way of extruding silver and copper to prevent any impurities and fractures in the crystalline structure of the wire. The wire is drawn very slowly to cast as an almost perfect single crystal small-diameter conductor. The resulting purity and the size of the cast wire make a tremendous difference and there is less damage to the near-perfect cast state. We find this UP-OCC process produces a very clean and close to neutral sound in our copper-based and silver-based cables.
WBT Locking RCA Design
The patented WBT locking mechanism provides maximum contact pressure and prevents accidental disconnection of your cables. Attempts to improperly disconnect the connector may result in equipment damage. Follow the instructions below to ensure proper use and care.
Step 1:
Hold the cable by the base of the connector and loosen the barrel of the male connector by turning it clockwise.
Step 2:
Insert the cable connector into the RCA socket of your device.
Step 3:
Hold the cable by the base of the connector and tighten the barrel by turning it counter-clockwise.
To prevent damage, do not allow the connector body to turn. Do not overtighten.
Remember to reverse these steps when removing the cable.

My first Silver Dragon was a pair of XLR interconnects. Compared to my Cardas Audio Clear, it was chalk and cheese - firmer bass, improved sound stage and no digital glare on massed strings. I next purchased first one than another short network cable. The same improvements were also audible. I agree that 100 hours burn-in improves the initial sound. Highly recommended. 5 stars.

I first purchased the Silver Dragon USB cable and was absolutely delighted by the sound quality. It trounced the Audience frontRow USB cable that I was using (in every way). So I decided to buy these Silver Dragon interconnects. It was going to be a daunting task to beat out the Nordost Odin 2 interconnects I was using at the time, but lo and behold, the Silver Dragon interconnects beat out the Odin 2's -- not by much, but nonetheless they beat 'em. Eventually they will beat them handily after the proper burn-in period! I then proceeded to sell those Odin's. Henceforth, I shall only purchase Silver Dragon cables for my audio rig.
