Audio Cable Break In Time

Recommendations for Optimal Sound Quality

All audio cables require a period of break-in for the sound quality to reach its full sonic potential. We recommend the following lengths of time to fully break in your hifi cables and equipment.

Headphones Break In Time

All headphones: 300 hours

Moon Audio recommends giving headphones 300 hours to break-in both mechanically and electrically. Although most of the break in process occurs within the first 100 hours, this allows time for the drivers to open up and gives you the best experience. We suggest connecting your headphones to internet radio each night while you sleep for an easy break-in experience. They should be broken in after seven days.
